What is ThinkEconomics?

A multiple-choice question bank for A-Level Economics, built by an experienced A Level Economics teacher and covering AQA, Edexcel, OCR, WJEC, Eduqas and CIE specifications. Students get instant marking and topic-by-topic practice; teachers get class management, one-click assignments, and automatic marking.

Is it free?

Yes, for the core of what most students and teachers need: creating an account, practising quizzes, and for teachers, setting up classes, assigning work from our public quiz bank, and using the Markbook. Which exam boards do you cover?

AQA, Edexcel, OCR, WJEC, Eduqas and CIE. Questions are organised by specification topic so you can find exactly what you need regardless of which board you sit.

How do I set up my school with a subscription?

Get in touch and we'll agree the number of student seats with you and verify your teachers' accounts. For the 2026-27 school year, school subscriptions are free until September 2027. See For Schools for more.

Is my (or my students') data safe?

Yes - see our Privacy Policy for the full detail. In short: students a teacher creates accounts for are only ever visible to that teacher, we don't sell data or use it for advertising, and you can ask us to delete your data at any time.

How can I support ThinkEconomics?

Honestly, the best thing you can do is tell another teacher or student about it. We're not running big advertising campaigns - word of mouth from people who actually use it in a real classroom is worth more to us than anything else.
